一、教材分析
本单元以“孩子们在厨房里做菜”为主线,呈现本单元重点“Are you…/ Is he/she… ”的询问及“Yes/No...”的回答。并通过让孩子们描述冰箱里的食物掌握名词单复数的用法,并复习本单元的语音部分。在充分利用书本材料进行教学与操练的基础上,让学生们自然交流,培养学生快速捕捉和获取文章大意的能力。培养学生对语法及句型的掌控能力,及帮助他人的的良好习惯。
二、教学目标
1.能听懂、会说会读会写单词vegetable, tomato, photo等食物类的词。
2.能听懂会说会读会写句型Are you…/ Is he/she… 及其肯定否定回答。
3.能够掌握现在进行时的一般疑问句及其肯定和否定回答。
4.把握语音,并能熟练运用。
5.培养孩子们帮助家人,他人的美好品德。
三、教学重、难点
1.听懂、会说、会读、会写句型Are you…/ Is he/she… 及其肯定和否定回答。
2.能够掌握并运用现在进行时的一般疑问句及其肯定和否定回答。
四、教学过程
Step1. Warm up and outside reading
1.sing a song
【设计意图】课前通过让孩子们演唱歌曲,复习旧知的同时,活跃课堂气氛。自然的引出本节课的内容
2. Outside reading
T: Do you like reading Let’s read a story about . And answer three questions.

My mum
This is my mum. She’s very beautiful. She’s a super mother. She is very busy.
It’s six o’clock in the morning, she is cooking breakfast for me.

It’s three o’clock in the afternoon, she is sweeping the floor.
It’s six o’clock in the evening, she is cooking dinner for me.
It’s nine o’clock in the evening, she is helping with my homework.
Now she is tired, she is sleeping.
【设计意图】通过经典绘本的创编,在情感的熏陶中,以现在进行时的形式复述妈妈一天的劳动,让学生深刻感受到母爱的伟大。并通过问题,进行现在进行时的复习,并自然地导入本综合板块的话题“helping”。

【设计意图】以帮助妈妈做饭为主线,引导孩子打开冰箱,寻找食材。以小组合作的方式,完成课本67页的练习。把握可数名词与不可数名词的正确用法。
