一、教学目标
1.能够听懂、会说、会读卡通故事中出现的词汇：hero, play, number, password, answer, start, fight.
2.能够整体理解并简单表演卡通对话。
3.能正确朗读字母组合th在单词中的发音。
4.在教师的帮助下了解更多关于中西方在生日方面不同之处。

1.学生能读懂故事中的趣味之处并，能在教师的指导下表演故事。
2.能正确朗读字母组合th在单词中的发音。

Step 1 Warm up

2. Free talk
When’s your birthday What do you do on your birthday
Step 2 Presentation
1. It is Helen’s birthday.(板书) What do you want to know about her birthday
When is her birthday Show the riddle and guess.
2. Sound time
Look at her family photo. Ss ask questions about it.
Where does Helen’s father work How is Helen’s mother
Listen and repeat.

3. Culture time
Helen’s parents give her a present. How does Helen receive it
