一．辨析when和while
1.I was waiting for the bus when it began to rain heavily.

when“当……时”其谓语可以是延续性动词，也可以是非延续性动词

2.while “当……时，在……期间”其谓语动词必须是延续性动词，常用于过去进行时态中。

总结：when 与while: 都是 “ 当……的时候”。后接的动词用过去进行时，多选用___________; 而后接的动词用一般过去时态时，用_______.
