1. My sister finished high school two weeks ago. 我姐姐两周前高中毕业了。
ago“以前”,指从现在说话这一刻算起的若干时间之前,常与一般过去时连用,放在表示“一段时间”的词语之后。

【辨析】ago, before
含义 例句
ago “时间段+ago” 意为“一段时间以前”,常用于一般过去时。 I met Tim two days ago. 我在两天前遇到过蒂姆。
before “before+时间点或事件”,意为“在某具体的时间/事件之前”。 Please come to see me before six o’clock. 请在六点钟以前来看我。
后接某人或地点,表示“在……的前面”。 Hedy sits before/in front of me in the classroom. 海蒂在教室里坐在我前面。
