1、教材分析： 本节课所学内容是外研版小学英语三年级起点三年级下册Module 7 Unit2 It’s warm today.本课注意是练习和运用It’s spring. It’s warm today.等句子描述天气。
2、学情分析
小学三年级的学生已经具备了单词认读、有一定的阅读能力。在本课之前，学生已经在Unit 1学习了季节的单词和相关季节做的事情的短语。本课的重点就是让学生熟练运用所学过的单词及句型描述季节和天气，以及在不同的天气下可以做的事情。
三、重点难点
（1）全体学生能初步运用“It’s warm today, but it’s raining.” 等语句描述天气以及在不同的季节里人们从事的活动。
（2）全体学生能理解 ：warm, hot, cool, cold, rain, sunny, windy, snow, very。

Step 1 Organization & Warm-up.
Greeting then making groups.
Sing a song.
Play a game.(look and say)
Purpose: The game is related to the following study which can make students feel relaxed, as well as leading students to today’s topic.
Step 2 Lead in
“It’s___today.” Free talk.Guide Ss to say, It’s hot/cool/cold/warm today. Then let’s chant. Purpose: Situation learning could improve students’ interest in learning English.
Step 3 Presentation & Practice

--Listen, circle the words(weather related)

Activities and games will be used to practice the sentences.
Purpose: The activity is to develop students’ listening, reading and speaking skills.

Purpose: The activity is for knowledge consolidation.
