Unit 5 A party 教学设计
（Checkout time & Ticking time）
教学课时：第4课时
教学目标：
1.进一步复习本单元词汇和句型；
2.能灵活运用be going to的不同结构进行描述和询问计划与打算。
教学重点与难点
教学重点：能正确掌握、灵活运用一般将来时进行口语交际及文本叙述；
教学难点：学生自主学习能力以及答题能力的培养。
教学准备及手段：
1．教具准备：PPT
2．教学准备：学生预习, 绘本故事.
3．板书准备：课题图板、实物图片.
教学过程：
Step1 Warm-up
1. Enjoy and sing the song: What are you going to do
2. T: How many characters are there in the song
Who are they
What are they going to do
S: Jeeby is going to sing. Tappy is going to dance. Pod is going to sleep. Gogo is going to do magic tricks.
T: What are we going to do this lesson

Step 2 Presentation and Practice
1. Task 1:Review Sound time
(1) Read the chant
(2) Find out more words with ow/ U/
(3) Which is different （语音辨析）
T: We know the sound of ow.
2. Task 2: What is a party
T: Do you know parties What does a party mean
A party means yummy food and interesting toys.
T: The children are going to have a party at Mike’s house. What are they going to bring to the party
(1) Review Storytime
T: How about Sam, Bobby and their friends What are they going to do at their party
(2) Review Cartoon time]
T: So a party means food and games.

T: Before the party, we should make some plans.
Look, Mike’s classmates make some notes for the class party. Let’s ask some questions about it. Please use these question words to get some information.

Bert and Beth plan Grandpa’s party
It was Grandpa’s birthday.
“I’m painting a picture for Grandpa,” said Beth.
“I am, too.” said Bert.
“I got flowers for grandpa,” said Beth.
“Look,” said Bert, “I got some, too.”
“ I’m going to dance for grandpa,” said Beth.
“And I’ll do tricks,” said Bert.

We can sing “Happy Birthday,” said Beth.
“And I know what else we can give Grandpa,” said Bert.
“Me too,” Said Beth.
They both gave Grandpa a big hug!
