1. begin-began-begun beginning 开始
begin to do sth. = beging doing sth.
开始做某事
一般来说，两个句型可以互换，以下情况例外：
主语不是指人，而是it等。
如：It began to rain.
begin后接表示心理活动的词。如：begin to know, 还有believe, wonder, think等词。
begin本身是ing形式，为避免重复后接to do。 即：beginning to do
2. That’s strange.
strange adj. 奇特的，奇怪的；
不可思议的
e.g. a strange noise 奇怪的声音
Check：这是一个奇怪的房间。
It’s a strange room.
strange 还有“陌生的”意思，stranger “陌生人”
Check: 不要跟陌生人讲话。
Don’t talk to the strangers.

suddenly副词，意为“突然”，可在句首或句中作状语，但在句首时，通常要用逗号隔开。
