Sample writing: A guide to living on Mars
What will our life be like on Mars in the future With the
rapid development of hi-tech, the Mars will change a lot in many ways in the future. We'll completely live in the cyberspace. First, we find Mars hasn't been polluted. Air and
water becomes tidier and fresher than our earth. Second, if we want, we can study in the spaceship.
And people don't need to go to the factory to work, instead
they work by computers at home. On the other hand, it is
very easy for us to visit the Earth and other stars by riding
spaceships. I hope all this can come true. But first, we must treasure and protect Mars and avoid it becoming another
polluted earth. If all of us try our best to do it, we will enjoy our life.

A way of learning English
To do self-assessment means to think about your studies in order to find out your strengths and weaknesses. This can help you make a plan to improve the way you study or find ways to motivate yourself when learning English.

Kitty's plan for studying English
I often speak English well in class, but I still need to practice more.
I need to work harder to learn new words and grammar rules. I plan
to copy the new words in my notebook and read them every morning. I plan to remember five new words every day. Grammar rules are
difficult, so I will keep an English diary and try to use the new
grammar rules I have learnt. I plan to watch English TV programmes every weekend in order to improve my listening skills.
