Step 1. Warming up and leading in
1. Enjoy a video, May I take your order Help the students to review the conversation in Section A.
2. Show the learning aims.
Step 2. Pre-listening
1. Show pictures and let the Ss learn the new words.
2. Get the Ss to brainstorm. Show five topics of food and let the Ss to list as many words as they can. Then show some of them with pictures.
3. Let the Ss finish 1c. Interview your partner about the food and drinks he or she likes. Then complete the word map.
4. Read the menu in 1a and read the words of food quickly.
Step 3. While-listening
1. Let the Ss listen to 1a and complete the table in 1b.
2. Listen again and check the answers.
3. Watch the video of 1a and understand it.
