一、Material analysis：
本课的1a 部分以Kangkang向Craig发电子邮件的形式总结了美食节的情况，呈现了多音节副词的比较级和最高级的用法。文章篇幅较短，生词不多，易于理解，文中以第一人称叙述，采用过去式来描述美食节的成功，同时表达了学生积极举办美食节的用心和尽力筹钱的热心，让学生体验成功的喜悦。最后Kangkang 与同学们将所筹款项，通过Craig 的慈善组织Free the Children帮助全世界的贫困儿童，让学生们初步树立“国际大家庭”的概念及乐于助人的思想。
