A Let’s talk教学设计
     
教材内容分析
本课时主要学习描述体貌特征的形容词:tall, short, fat及描述动物特征的句型:It’s so tall. It’s shor and fat. 并能在实际情景中运用简单的句子描述。
教学重点:学生能听,说,认读tall, short, fat
教学难点:学生能在实际情景中运用It’s so tall. It’s shor and fat.进行描述。
教学目标
新课题强调知识与技能,过程与方法的有机结合,本着这样的认识,我将教学目标定为:
知识与能力目标: 学生能听,说,认读tall, short, fat等新单词。能运用英语交流自己喜爱的小动物,部分学生能用英语流利问答相关情况。让学生在此过程中产生学习英语的兴趣,积极参与交流,提高学生的口语水平。
过程与方法目标: 运用多媒体课件教学,营造多彩和谐的课堂环境,激发学生对新课程的学习欲望。并以活动为途径,渗透任务型教学,让学生在学中玩,玩中学,寓教于乐。
情感态度与价值观目标: 通过本课时的学习,让学生运用语言来完成学习任务,感受成功,从而引发和培养学生学习英语的内在动机。同时教育学生要有一颗爱心,要爱护动物,并培养学生积极向上的乐观的生活态度。
三、教学准备:
1. 制作多媒体教学辅助课件。
2.准备动物的词卡和图片。
3. 准备与教材相配套的教学录音带。
四、教学设计理念:
新英语课程标准明确指出,根据小学生的生理和心理特点以及发展需要,小学阶段英语课程的目的是:激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养他们英语学习的积极态度,使他们初步建立学习英语的自信心,培养他们一定的语感和良好的语音、语调基础,使他们形成初步用英语进行简单日常交流的能力,为进一步学习打下基础。新课程提倡任务型教学,让学生在教师的指导下通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式完成教学目标。本着这一理念,我在设计本课时采用五步教学法,不断滚动知识点,以此来分散教学难点,同时创设一个师生多向交流平台,从单词到词组到句子到对话,发挥学生的学习主体性,并在教学中运用多媒体课件、动物卡片及录音等教学辅助手段,变抽象为直观,使学习过程自然轻松。
五、教学过程
Step1. Warm-up
Free talk (Ask some questions about students’ names, ages and some information about the personal life.)
A: T: Good afternoon, boys and girls.
Ss: Good afternoon, Miss Yao.
B: T: What’s your name
S1: My name is ….
T: Nice to meet you.
S1: Nice to meet you, too.
T: How are you
S1: Fine, thank you. How are you
T: Very well, thanks.
Sing a song 《Good morning to you》(play PPT 2)
T and Ss clap hands and sing the song.
【设计意图:小学生都喜欢轻松愉快的课堂环境,通过学生跟唱歌曲和师生问候来活跃气氛,融洽师生情感,激发学生参与课堂活动的热情,使学生迅速进入英语学习的状态。】
Step 2. Preview
Ask students to act the chant:
Look at the cat. It is fat.
Look at the pig. It is big.
Look at the dog. It’s on the log.
Look at the duck. It’s in the truck.
Look at the bear. It’s on the pear.
【设计意图:让全体同学都参于到活动中,调动学生的学习积极性,并通过教师出示动物图片自然的引出新授内容,也诱发了学生对新课程的学习兴趣。】
Step3. Presentation
1) Let’s learn
T: Look at here. They are our old friends. Let’s say hello to them.
Ss: Hello cat. .....
T: Ok. There are many animals in the zoo. And today, there are many new animals. Now, let’s go and have a look. Who are they Let’s meet them one by one.
T: Can you tell me who the first is
S1:giraffe.
T: giraffe,giraffe .Students read together after teacher.
T: Yes, it’s a giraffe. It’s so tall. Students read together after teacher.
Teacher and students do the actions like the giraffe. And then students read one by one. (Teach other new words in different ways. E.g.: read together, in a line, boys and girls, single and so on.)
T: Can you tell me who the second is
S1:baby giraffe.
T: It’s short. Students read together after teacher.
T: Can you tell me who the third is
S1: Monkey
T: Look at the big one. It’s eating bananas. It’s fat. Students read together after teacher. Teacher and students do the actions like a fat monkey. And then students read one by one.
T: Can you tell me who the forth is Teacher clean the screen.
S1: Bear.
T: It’s short and fat. Students read together after teacher. Teacher and students do the actions like a short fat bear. And then students read one by one.
2) Chant (play PPT 15)
All the students stand up to clap hands with teacher.
Be fat, be fat, be fat fat fat.
Be thin, be thin, be thin thin thin.
Be tall, be tall, be tall tall tall.
Be short, be short, be short short short.
3) Let’ s talk

【设计意图:通过认识新动物园的话题,将学生引入新授课程中,并运用幻灯片为载体,吸引学生的眼球,让他们在轻松愉快中学习。】
Step4. Practice
Who can say.
T shows the picture. Ss answer the questions.
Look at the giraffe. It’s so tall.
Look at the panda. It’s so short.
【设计意图:采用悬念式激情导入,激发学生的好奇心和兴趣,用熟知的语言来描术动物,提高学生的听力水平,也避免了枯燥无意义的机械重复,使课堂生动、鲜活、富有生活趣味。】
2) Read and match.
The bear is fat.
The giraffe is tall.

3) Beat them all.
Students must read the words quickly and beat them all.
【设计意图:通过此游戏探视学生对本课内容的撑屋程度,并锻练学生的反应的能力和提高他们的听力能力。】
Draw and say
A: Teacher shows the pictures and discrbe them.
B: Students draw picture.
C:Students talk about them pictures.
【设计意图: 既可以活跃课堂气氛,又是对本课内容的巩固复习。教师运用肢体语言示范新动作,引导学生对指令作出正确反应,培养学生各种机能的协调发展。】

T: Boys and girls. These animals are all lovely. We should love them. But what are they
Please open your book, and turn to page 24. Let’s listen and read.
Students listen to the tape and read after the record.
2) Homework (play PPT 22)
① Draw a picture of your favorite animal.
② Tell your parents what you have learnt, and do the actions.
【设计意图:师生互动,总结本节课所学知识。布置课外作业,巩固本节课所学内容。让学生在学中玩,玩中学的过程中,充分发挥他们的想象力,同时也可让学生们感受到学习英语的乐趣。】
六、板书设计:
【设计意图:通过图片和单词卡来展示本课重点内容,并通过小组竞赛,来时刻提醒学生主意力要集中,增强他们的合作精神和小组竞争意识。】
七、教后反思:
本课时通过 Let's talk 和 draw and say 两部分的学习掌握描述动物体貌的单词tall, short, fat, 句型:It’s so tall. It’s short and fat. 在第一课时学生已经能听懂、会说这几个的动物单词,本课时对学生提出认读的要求。针对小学生的生理和心理年龄特点,我通过游戏、趣味活动以及课件创设情境,轻松、自然地引出教学重点,并在情境中突破难点,使教学内容形象直观,易于学生接受。Draw and say 部分我依然通过教师示范之后,学生经过亲画动物,之后再两两依据自己的画来进行对话,进一步激活记忆、巩固知识。
