3. Free talk---- Do you have a favorite singer or band

What fact do you know about your favorite singer, band or song (where from/How many CDs/popular song etc. )
Step 3. Fast reading
1. Ask Ss to read the title and ask them some questions. Ss answer these question according to the title. Questions: ① what kinds of music is it
② Is country music very important to Sarah How do you know it
2. Show reading skill--tip1 to Ss.
3. Ask Ss to read the passage by themselves and find out the main ideas of each paragraph, besides, Ss should finish 2b on their books.
4. Check the answers.
5. Show reading skill—tip2 to Ss.
Step 4. Careful reading
1. Ask the whole class to read para.1 and answer the questions—who is Sarah
2. Invite one Ss to share his/her answers and check the answers at the same time.
