一、Teaching contents教学内容:
Sound time & Cartoon time
本课是六年级下册第四单元Road safety 这一主题。本课是第三课时。主要的学习内容是重音和有关于交通规则的词汇以及相关句型。本课主要是从学生的兴趣出发,联系学生所学的知识,通过对话表演、拓展听读等活动,复习旧知、巩固新知,进一步训练学生的言语交际能力。
二、Teaching aims and objectives教学目标:
1. 了解句子重音的作用,并能进行积极的尝试运用。
2. 通过Cartoon time的学习,增强分析和提炼信息的能力,并能进行准确的朗读和较为生动的表演。
3. 进一步提升公民素养,知晓交通规则和礼让行人的重要性。
三、Focus of the lesson&predicted area of difficulty教学重难点:
重点:通过Cartoon time的学习,提升学生的自主学习能力。
难点:句子重音的理解和尝试运用。
四、Analysis of the students学情分析:
学生是小学六年级的学生,有着三年多的英语基础。学生对英语学习仍旧有浓厚的兴趣,但在热情上有些欠缺,需要教师的充分调动。
五、Teaching Strategies教学策略:
本节课通过视、听、说、演等形式,让学生在有节奏的说唱中体验语言,在轻松的愉快的行动中输入语言,让他们在做中学,在唱中学,在表演中巩固,从而为运用英语进行顺利的交流下打下坚实的基础。

七、Teaching procedures教学过程:
Step1 Warm-up and lead-in ( 4min )
1. Greetings
2. Play a game
T: Do you like playing games Let’s play a game together.
Look at the rules: If the behavior is right, you should read it loudly; If it’s wrong, you should stand up and say “Oh, no!”.Are you ready Let's go.
最后一个行为是:We must look at the traffic lights.由此过渡到下一环节。
(设计意图:导入环节采取游戏的形式,一是学生喜欢做游戏,二是在轻松愉快的氛围下,让学生回顾并复习了Story time 的重点知识,知晓交通规则。)
Step 2 Sound time (9min)
1. Let’s learn
T: Yes. When we cross the road, we must look at the traffic lights.
Look, here’s a red man. What should we do
Ss: Stop.
T: What about a green man
Ss: Go.
T: Ok.Let me read the two sentences for you. Listen carefully.
Red man, stop. Green man, go.
T: What can you find
S1:重音。
T: Yes. In English, we call this “Stress”. It has two functions.
1.体现句子的节奏感和韵律感。
2.突出重点,使听者更容易理解。
So, you need to read some words in a sentence more loudly.
(设计意图:教师让学生体会句子的节奏并找出规律,培养学生自主学习的能力。)
2. Learn the rhyme
1) Listen to the rhyme and try to find out the stress.
Learning tip: 在一般情况下,句子中比较重要的词要重读,如名词、动词、形容词和副词等。重读单词的发音听起来相对响亮而且清晰。
2) Check the answers.
3)Read the rhyme.Follow the tape; Read together.
T: When we read the stress, pat the desks.

(设计意图:教师让学生体会句子的节奏并找出规律,读到重音时拍一下桌子,加深印象。反复练说体会规律,培养学生自主学习的能力,避免了机械操练。)
Step 3 Cartoon time (20min)
1. Look and guess
T: We must follow the rules! Look, do they follow the rules
Show Picture 1 to the Ss. Let them try to guess.
2. Listen and answer
T:Where do Bobby and Tina want to go Let’s listen.
Ss: Aunt Alice’s house.
T:They want to see their aunt, but they should finish four tasks. Can you help them
(如果Bobby 和 Tina 想要去Alice阿姨的家,必须闯过四关,让我们一起帮助他们吧!这是Cartoon time 部分的主线。)
(设计意图:先谈论图片,让学生初步预测故事情节,然后在具体的语境中学习文本并理解意思。)
Task 1 Watch and order

Task 2 Read and answer
1) Read the story loudly and answer the question:
T: When they get on the bus. How many times does the bus stop
2) Read Picture3,4 carefully, and find out the reasons for stopping the bus.

Ss: Because there’s the red man, they must stop the bus.
T: This is the most important rule on the road. When can they go
Ss: When they see the green man.
T: Do you know more rules on the road

T: We must follow the rules on the road.
②The second time
T: Why do they stop the bus again Is there a red man, too
Ss: No, some elephants are crossing the road. They must stop and wait.
T: No, I see. This is another important rule on the road. Who can tell us
Ss:车辆要礼让行人。
T: Yes, we should give way to pedestrians.
(设计意图:Cartoon time的文本处理不同于story time形式多样,但本节课采用个人读,大声读,细读的方式,让学生充分发挥自主学习能力。)
Task 3 Reading time
1) Listen and pay attention to the stress.
2) Read together.
3) Imitate the pronunciation and intonation.
Task 4 Group work
1) Read the dialogue fluently .(流利地朗读课文)
2) Read and Act the dialogue.(边读边表演对话)
3) Act the dialogue without books.(背诵并表演对话)

(设计意图:通过表演故事,让学生输出语言,达到学以致用的目标。)
Step 4 Consolidation (6min)
T: Bobby and Tina get to Aunt Alice’s house, they are watching TV now. Let’s watch together. (观看车祸视频,给予学生心灵上的一种震撼。)
