导入 Step1. Warming-up and lead in Greet the students warmly. Then play a video about many kinds of animals, then asking them questions: Do you like animals What animals have you seen in the zoo
知识讲解 (难点突破) Step2. Presentation Learn the new words (guessing game) T: Show some pictures on the big screen. Let Ss guess what animal it is. 2. Finish 1a and let students read the words together. Step3. Listening Practice Work on 1b. Tell Ss to listen to the tape and check the animals they hear in 1a. Get Ss to listen and fill in the blanks, then correct the answers. Finally, have Ss repeat each sentence according to the listening materials after class. Step4. Pair work Ask the students to imagine “We are in the zoo, there are many kinds of animals here.” Then ask a student to do the model with you: — Let’s see the lions first. —Why do you want to see them (Why do you /does she /does he like lions ) —Because they are interesting.
