教学 背景分析 教学内容 本节课是阅读专题训练,避灾自救话题类的文章比较契合当下灾难频发的时事现状,让学生在学习中了解到正确的自救方法遵循了英语改革的实用性;此外本节课选取典型题型,兼顾了细节、主旨、推断三个高频题型,C篇难度,比较适合学生的能力水平,具体目标在于以下三个方面: 1.通过阅读两篇关于避灾自救的文本获取细节和主旨信息; 2.通过小组合作形式分析长难句,培养学生筛选信息的能力; 3.通过学习正确的避险自救方式增强学生自我保护的意识。
学生情况 上学期期末有两个学生成绩不及格,分别是64分和68分,大部分同学成绩比较稳定,基础较扎实,通过之前的阅读训练,学生具备了基本的阅读素养,如审题找关键词、猜词、排除错误选项、主旨题归纳等。但是面对长难句分析和深层次理解方面还存在一定障碍,且缺乏综合运用各种技能的能力。毕业考试也暴漏了这个问题,因此本节课选取典型文章和典型题型,旨在帮助学生整合阅读中的技巧和方法。
教学目标 The students will be able to: 1. Get some detail and general information through reading a passage about self-protection in disasters; 2. Screen out the right choice from wrong by analyzing long and complex sentences; 3. Improve their awareness of self-protection by learning correct methods of self-protection during disasters.

Step 1 Lead-in Show students three pictures about 3 kinds of accident and ask them to talk about what they will do if an earthquake happens. Step 2Experience& Exploration 1. Ask students to read the passage and choose the best answer. 2. Sum up their answers and diagnose problems. 3.Choose sentences concerning problems in Activity 2 and encourage students to analyze their structures in group. 4. Ask some students to present their understanding. 5. Ask students to observe their choices and make a decision again. 6. Check the correct answer and diagnose the reasons. Step 3Expansion 1. Lead students to summarize the actions we should take indoors during an earthquake. 2. Ask students to sum up actions should be done in the other places. Step 4 Feedback 1.Show students a picture about Cast Away and lead in another passage about how to sent signals on a lonely island. 2. Ask students to read the passage and make choices. 3. Call back their answer and ask students to give some explanation if necessary. 4. Encourage students to note down words or phrases they don’t understand from the text. Step 5 Summary Sum up methods and main content in this lesson Homework Level B: To read passage C on page 130. Level A: To read passage C and passage D on page 130.
