教学 背景分析 教学内容 阅读巧用关键词是阅读过程中的重要技巧,所谓关键词是指在文章中能够概括文章主旨,解释文章中心,展示文章脉络。学生能够通过抓关键词来理解文本,就是要学生能深入解读文本,能抓住文本中的最具有价值的核心内容,提高阅读能力。
学生情况 学生在阅读中表现出的主要问题就是1.觉得生词量过大;2对归纳总结和推理题束手无策,缺乏有效的方法。往往在能基本读懂文章的情况下,依然无法排除干扰项,选出正确答案。使得部分学生对除了细节理解题外的其它题目,都开始排斥甚至胡蒙。
教学目标 Students will be able to use key words to guess out the meaning of the new words. Students will be able to use the key words to know the information which isn’t written out. Ss can conclude the main idea or choose the best topic with the help of the key words.
教学重点 Students will be able to increase awareness and practice usage of key words in reading.

Step I. Lead in Give a few words and let the students guess what it is. Step II. Tasks Task I: Paraphrase the new words. List some sentences with new words and guide them to read and guess the meaning with the help of the key words. Provide them 10 more new words in 10 sentences and make them have a try. Task II. Predicting or inferring . 1) Provide passages and guide them to find out the information which is not written out. 2) Make the students read another two passages to practice the skill. Task III. Get the main idea Guide the students to read a passage to get the main idea according to the key words. Ask them to exercise by themselves. Step III: Feedback General practice in reading. Present a passage and ask students to use what they have learned to finish the reading practice Play the guessing game with the help of the key words. 1) Read the sentences and get the meaning of the new words with the help of the key words. 2)Have a practice. Read and predict or infer with the help of the key words. Read and practice the reading skill. Read and learn the skills in getting the main idea with the help of the key words. Do exercises and practice the skill. To arouse the students’ interest as well as introduce the usage of the Key words. To introduce the way that key words help to get the meaning of the new words. Give them more new words to practice and make them not afraid of new words any more. With the help of the teacher, the students can get the clue of predicting and inferring. Provide two more passages for them to make sure they can use the key words to predict or infer the information. Help the students to pay more attention to those words which appear many times, especially in the first or the last paragraph. To consolidate the reading skill of making use of key words.
