Teaching content:
英语四下:Unit 8 How are you (Fun& Cartoon time)
Teaching aims:
1、能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词:may, hear, at school.
2、能听懂、会说、会读单词:cold, fever, cough, headache.
3、能熟练地听懂、会说、会读句型:This is… speaking. May I speak to… I’m sorry to hear that. How are you I’m fine, thank you. /Not so good.
4、能够理解Cartoon time内容,并正确,流利,有感情的朗读表演。

Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Free talk and warm-up
Step 2 Revision
T: Let’s read story time together. After reading, we are going to have a memory game.
1. Students read story time together.
2. Game: “Yeah, yeah, yeah” and“ No, no, no”.根据课文内容及图片判断所给句子是否正确。
a. This is Yang Ling speaking.
b. Yang Ling can come to school today.
c. Yang ling can come to school tomorrow.
d. Yang Ling has a cold and a fever.
Step 3 Presentation
1. T: Yang Ling has a cold and a fever. Do you know any other illnesses
Learn these words together. (a headache, a cough., a cold , a fever)
2. Know more: earache 耳痛
backache 背痛
stomach ache 胃痛
由ache 引出三个补充单词的教学
3. Cartoon time
Yang Ling is ill. She calls Miss Li. Look at our friend Bobby.
Look at the picture carefully. What do you want to know about Bobby
学生自由提问,呈现三个问题:
(1) Who is calling Bobby?
(2) Why is Bobby pinching his nose
(3) Why is Bobby so happy
Watch the cartoon , and try to find the answer
核对第一个答案后,四人小组阅读课文,进一步讨论二、三问题。
(2) Why is Bobby pinching his nose
He wants to play a joke on Sam .
引导阅读课本第二幅图。
(3) Why is Bobby so happy
Sam thinks bobby is Tina.
引导阅读书本第三、五幅图。
跟读,表演。
追问 Why is Sam calling Bobby
引出today is Sunday. They don’t have school .Maybe Sam wants to invite Bobby to go out to play.
4 . Fun time
How about my friend Tom. How is he today Do he want to go out
Let’s make a telephone call.
(1)When we want to make a telephone call, what can we say
学生归纳电话用语,问候用语,教师板书。
(2)What do we need 呈现土电话的制作方式和使用提醒。
(3)How is Tom Work in two ,One tries to act Tom. Try to make a telephone call to guess about Tom’s feeling.
(4) Listen (听fun time 内容,公布答案)

Tom is not so good. He can’t go out to play. How about you Do you want to play What do you want to do

Make a telephone call, to invite your friend to go with you. Don’t forget to greet with him or her.
