教学目标 By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to :Listen, speak, read and understand the new words and phrases: safety, zebra crossing, pavement, look out for, easily, rule, stay, road, must, safe, follow, light;Listen, read, say and understand the sentence structures: You must … You mustn’t …;Understand the text and know how to cross the road safely;Read the text correctly and fluently;Use the new sentences to make some other traffic rules.

Make a free talk with the students.Show them the pictures and the sentences;Make a summary.Help them to choose the correct topic according to the pictures;Check their understanding of “the traffic lights”;Check the answers about the rules at the zebra crossing.Organize the action;Ask three questions to check.Show the tip;Play the video;Show them the requirements of the activity. 从“habit”角度巧妙切入,通过图片和句子的判断初步了解马路行走的正确方式,为课文理解做好铺垫。引导学生根据图片猜测课文主题;根据图片将课文合理分段;根据图片理解单词,真正将本单元Tip(The pictures can help you understand the text.)的精髓贯穿于课文理解的始终,从而给学生实实在在的方法指导和能力 训练。课文理解的过程中穿插学生的模仿表演和思维的拓展训练,能力训练活动丰富、目标突出,效果好。从马路上行走规则的理解到同样重要的驾驶规则的制定,这个活动是一个从课内到课外的过程,从语言理解掌握到语言输出运用的过程,学生语言运用的能力由此得到真正地训练。
