World Smile Day
World Smile Day is on May 8 every year. In 1948, the international committee of the Red Cross designated May 8, the birthday of its founder Henry Dunant, as World Red Cross Day. It is also known as World Smile Day. It is hoped that smile can promote the physical and mental health of human beings, and at the same time transmit the joy and friendliness among people, and promote the social harmony(和谐).
World Smile Day is a day when people are encouraged to not only wear a smile but also to treat others with kindness.
