Step 2 1. Prediction The teacher asks students to read the introduction to the film and answer the questions: Can you imagine how Forrest Gump’s first day of school is like Why Possible answer: He may have a very tough day because his IQ is only 75. Step 3 First Reading The teacher has students read the script and finish Part A on Page 12. When discussing the answers, the teacher guides students to do some character analysis. Step 4 Second reading The teacher asks students to imagine themselves as the characters and read aloud the lines with appropriate intonation and emotion. Ask the following questions to help students: How to show that Forrest Gump is simple How to show that Jenny is direct 进一步揣摩台词,用恰当的语言表达人物性格。
