一般过去时：规则动词的过去式
在上个模块中，我们学习了be动词的过去式。那么在本模块中，我们将学习行为动词的过去式。
1. 行为动词的过去式的规则变化
变化规则 举例
一般动词直接加-ed walk→walked, listen→listened, look→looked, finish→finished
以“不发音的字母e结尾”的动词后加-ed live→lived, notice→noticed, decide→decided
以“辅音字母+y结尾”的动词，y变为i，再加-ed hurry→hurried, marry→married, study-→studied
以“元音字母+一个辅音字母结尾”的重读闭音节动词，先双写辅音字母，再加-ed stop→stopped, step→stepped, plan→planned
2. 行为动词的一般过去时的句式
句式 句型 举例
肯定句 主语+动词的过去式+其他. They cleaned their classroom yesterday.他们昨天打扫了教室。
否定句 主语+did not (didn't)+动词原形+其他. They didn't clean their classroom yesterday.他们昨天没有打扫教室。
句式 句型 举例
一般疑 问句 Did+主语+动词原形+其他？ 肯定回答：Yes, 主语+did. 否定回答：No, 主语+didn't. —Did they clean their classroom yesterday.他们昨天打扫教室了吗？
—Yes, they did. / No, the didn't.是的，他们打扫了。/ 不，他们没有打扫。
特殊疑 问句 特殊疑问词+一般疑问句 When did they clean their classroom？ 他们什么时候打扫教室了？
【注意】（1）在一般过去时的句子中，行为动词的过去式无人称和数的变化；（2）did是do和does的过去式。在否定句和疑问句中，助动词did / didn't 本身是过去式，此时行为动词要用原形。
