【教学思路】
学生已经有了半年的英语学习经历,英语学习兴趣比较浓厚,且本课教学内容为日常生活中最常见的几种小动物,贴近学生生活,更符合学生喜爱小动物的心理,在上一课学习了农场动物基础上再进行本课的学习,没有难度跨越,课堂活动也贴合学生特点进行了设计,学生能够在层层深入的活动环节中顺利完成本课学习.
【教学目标】
Ⅰ.知识目标:
1.能正确地听、说、读、写动物单词cat, dog, chicken, duck.
2.能综合运用所学的语句进行交际.

Ⅱ.能力目标:能够运用所学词汇和句子来进行表达、对话.
Ⅲ.情感目标:培养学生运用所学英语进行交流的兴趣,培养主动参加英语活动的意识,在与他人交流中获得快乐.
【教学重难点】
能够运用所复习的词汇来正确表达动物以及运用所学句型进行语言交际.
【教学准备】
本课及前面所学的动物卡片,教学幻灯片.
学具:学生用小卡片.
【教学过程】
Ⅰ.Class Opening
1.Greeting
2.Listen to a song.
T: What did you see
We'll learn four of them today.
Ⅱ.New Concepts
1.Cat, dog, chicken, duck
Show the picture of a cat.
T: What's this
Can you say it in English Who can try
Listen.
Try to say.
Follow.
Spell. Write with fingers.
Say it by themselves.
Ask some students to show.
Learn the other words like "cat".
Write the words.
2.Ask the class to write down the words on the cards, and check the words in groups.
(1)What's this Is it/ this a ____ Yes, it is. / No, it isn't. It's a ____.
T: Use the cards to show these sentences.
Ask the class to listen and follow.
Make dialogues in groups with their cards.
(2)Sing a song.
Listen to the song once, then listen again and find out the words.
Learn the words.
Learn to sing.
Try to sing and act.
Ⅲ.Class closing
Review the words and sentences.
Watch a film, try to learn these animals by their way.
