journalist interviewee
Hi, I heard that you are a big fan of Chinese chess. Could you tell me why you like playing Chinese chess The main reason is that I think playing chess is really cool. I am actually in a simulated battlefield, but there is no blood and death there. I can have a wonderful experience.
What is the most challenging thing while playing chess Well, personally I think it’s really hard when you never know what the opposite side is going to do next, so you have to always think, guess and decide in this process.
I know that you are a fan of Chinese chess for 10 years. What keeps you playing for such a long time Playing chess teaches me how to think and helps me make many friends. The various benefits encourage me to keep playing chess.
Do you have any plan for the future In the future, I want to keep practicing chess to see if I am qualified to be a professional chess player.
Thank you for sharing your story with me. My pleasure.

1. As a foreigner, I can tell you actually Chinese martial arts including Tai Chi enjoys great popularity around the world, but some other traditional Chinese sports are less well-known for foreigners. Can you analyze the reasons behind this
2. How to promote more traditional Chinese sports to the world Can you share your ideas
Think and speak with me
Possible version
1. First of all, a variety of films featured by Chinese kung fu are quite popular among foreigners, which is a very good means of spreading. Besides, scientific research has showed that Tai Chi is a perfect assistant treatment for many diseases, including arthritis, diabetes, Parkinson’s disease and so on, which encourages many foreigners to try Tai Chi. Last but not least, national support also promotes Tai Chi’s popularity. For example, early in 2005 U.S. Department of Health advocates its people to learn Tai Chi .
2. First, we could use different common media to promote traditional Chinese sports, like radio, TV, Internet and so on. Second, Chinese government can encourage the opening of traditional Chinese sports schools or organizations in foreign countries by implementing some favorable policies or giving enough support. Last, it is necessary to hold more international games of traditional Chinese sports to attract global attention.
Task
Write an essay about your thoughts on how to promote more traditional Chinese sports to the world. You might use “first of all ”, “besides”, “last but not least”to improve the logic of your essay.
