(1) Watch a video about daily activities of a girl.
(2)After watching a video, then ask students about these activities. Review the phrases and the target language “What time do you …… ” .
起床 get up
刷牙 brush teeth
吃早饭 eat breakfast
上学 go t school
吃午饭 have lunch
回家 go home
上床睡觉 go to bed
Help Ss understand the meaning of healthy and unhealthy.
T: What time do you usually get up
Do you brush your teeth every day
Get up early, go to bed early ,eat a good breakfast, eat lots of fruit and vegetables , you will be very healthy .

Step 4 : Presentation (呈现新知识)
Work on 2b. Tony and Mary are brother and sister. They have healthy and unhealthy habits. Who is healthier
T: Look at the two pictures. They are Tony and Mary.
(1)Skim(扫读)para.1 and para.2,answer the question:
Who is healthier,Tony or Mary
( 2) Scan(略读)para.1 and Para.2, tell “T” or “F” .
(3) Read para.1 carefully, find out the healthy and unhealthy habits of Tony and fill in the blanks.
Healthy habits: play basketball, do homework first,
brush my teeth
Unhealthy habits : don’t like to get up early,
usually eat very quickly,
usually eat hamburgers for lunch,
watch TV or play computer games,
go to bed at ten thirty
(4) Read para.2 by yourselves in groups (学生小组自读).
Find out the activities of Mary and fill in the blanks, circle the healthy and unhealthy habits .
At six thirty gets up
takes a shower and
eats a good breakfast
At eight thirty goes to school
At twelve eats lots of fruit and vegetables
After lunch plays volleyball
In the evening eats ice-cream
does her homework,
swims or takes a walk
At nine thirty goes to bed
(5)Ask some Ss to read the passage aloud.
(6)Pay attention to some sentences and phrases which can help Ss in their writing.
(7) Ask 3-4 students to retell the activities of Mary .
(8) Have a test about Tony’s and Mary’s activities.

Don’t eat quickly
Don’t eat junk food(hamburgers/ice cream)
Sports : play basketball/volleyball, run ,swim,
take a walk
Sleep : get up early;
go to bed early;
Don’t watch TV or play computer games too late
Others : brush teeth twice a day ;
take a shower every day

Step 6 Writing (写作)
Write a passage about your own daily routine.
Word bank : (Help Ss to finish their compositions.)
in the morning ,for lunch , after school ,
in the evening, then , after that , at twelve , after lunch , have a very healthy life , get up exercise , eat breakfast , have lunch ,
go to school , get home from work ,
have dinner , go to bed at…
After finishing the composition, ask several students to share theirs to the class.

Speak out the main contents of this class with the students according to the pictures.
