【概 述】
本课是PEP教材五年级下册Unit5 Whose dog is it 本单元共6课时，本课是第4课时，
【设计理念】
以言语交际为中心，借助现代信息技术，努力为学生创设理想的英语学习环境,渗透任务型教学,能让学生把所学的内容联系实际，在生活中运用,提供丰富的网络资源，倡导体验、实践、参与、交流与合作的学习方式。
【教学目标】
1.掌握新单词: climbing, eating, playing, jumping, drinking, sleeping.
2.掌握句型: Fido is sleeping. They are playing with each other.
【教学重点和难点】
教学重点:能掌握新单词，并知道如何在单词的后面加上ing。能够运用句型“It is／They are+v-ing”表达谁正在做什么。
教学难点：掌握climbing的读音。
教具准备：
1.英语资源。2. PPT课件。
【教学过程】
Step 1.热身（Warm up)

（设计意图：通过游戏的方式复习旧知同时导入新课。）
Step2.新课展示（Presentation）
Lead in：Look !They are at the farm.What can they see Let's go and see.
1.New words
（1）climbing：由climb引出climbing.The dog is climbing.
动词ing形式的变化规律：
1. 直接加ing；
2. 辅音e结尾，去e加ing；
3. 一个元音字母加辅音字母结尾的重读
闭音节，要双写末尾字母加ing。
(2)eating.由eat引出eating.The dog is eating.
(3)drinking.由drink引出drinking.The dog is drinking.
