3.学生学习句型what shape is this It’s a circle.
4.学生能朗读、复述对话内容。
二、教学重点:
1.对话中出现的单词与词组:circle,watch ,ball,in the shape of … ,stand in a circle, pass the ball,学生能正确的听说读写并运用。
2.学习句型what shape is this It’s a circle. 通过学习,学生能正确的运用它们进行对话。
三、教学难点:
单词circle的正确读音与拼写。

1.多媒体课件。
2.录音机,磁带。
3.课前准备好单词卡片与相关图片。

一、 热身、复习
1.Greetings.
2.Introduce ourselves to each other.
二、呈现新课
1. Show pictures. Ask and answer
“What’s this ”
The teacher introduce the topic of this unit: shapes.
Today we will learn Unit 1 Shapes.
2. Teach the new word “shape”
4. show the picture
T: Look, What shape is it Can you tell me its Chinese name
Ss: 圆形
T: You’re right. It’s English name is “circle”. Teach the new word “circle”. Let the students look at the word and learn to say this word.
Then show the pictures
T: Look at this picture. What shape is it Is it a circle
Ss: Yes. Can you tell me its Chinese name
T: Teach the new word “watch”, “ball”. Let the students look at the word and learn to say the words.
5.播放教学录音,学生模仿录音说对话。注意模仿语音正确、语调自然。
6. Learn the sentences:
T: Look, What shape is it
Ss: It’s a circle.
T: What about the watch
Ss: The watch is in the shape of a circle.
T: What about the ball
Ss: The ball is in the shape of a circle.
