一、教学目标
1、词汇:能听懂、会说、会读新单词today, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday;
2、句型:
1)能用 “Today is ... .”正确描述今天是星期几。
2)能用 “… is a … day. ”描述一周的天气。
二、教学重、难点
1、重点:能听懂、会说、会读新单词today, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday; 能用 “Today is ... .”正确描述今天是星期几;能用 “… is a … day. ”描述一周的天气。
2、难点:
(1)Thursday的发音。Th字母组合的发音较难,要引导学生观察口形,仔细听,模仿读。
(2)Tuesday和Thursday的区别。
(3)表示“星期几”的单词首字母要大写。

用于新授单词的图片、单词卡片、2个抽奖盒、PPT课件。
四、教学过程
Step1 Warm-up/Revision
1. Greetings.
T: Good morning! Boys and girls! How are you
2. Lead-in.
1) Sing a song together “How is the weather ”
2) Let’s review.
Show the pictures of weather. Review the words: sunny, cloudy, windy, rainy, snowy.
3) Ask some questions.
T: How is the weather today (教today)
T: What day is it today
Step2 Presentation
1. New words.
(1)学习新词Sunday.
Draw a picture of the sun.
T: What is it (板书sun+day)让学生把两个单词拼到一起读出Sunday。并把单词放到句子 “Today is Sunday.” 中呈现。然后男生女生读,开小火车读,利用联想记忆法巩固。
(2)以相同的方式教授Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday和Saturday.引导学生用自然拼读法拼读单词,用联想法记忆单词。
2. Games
Game1-Bomb Game
Rule: Don’t read the words with the bomb. (老师带读,学生带读)
Game2-Magic Eyes
Game3-Wheel of Fortune
Rule: Say the word aloud, and make a sentence with “Today is ... ”
教师利用课件依次叫学生读出转盘里的单词,并造句。

让学生总结星期单词的缩略形式
Step3 Practice.
1. Let’s watch a video about the weather of the week.
2. Present the sentence structure:”… is a … day.”
3. Fill in the blanks, and check the answers.
4. Game: 幸运对对碰
Rule: 有请学生上台从两个盒子(星期盒,天气盒)中各抽一张幸运卡片,然后用句型 : “... is a ... day.” 造句。如:如果从星期盒中抽到“Monday”,天气盒中抽到“sunny”,则造句“Monday is a sunny day”。
