学情分析 五年级的同学已学习了两年的英语，大多数学生都具有了一定的英语基础，而且英语学习兴趣较为浓厚，思维活跃，大部分同学善于与同学交流，乐于表现自己，渴望得到同学和老师的赞许。Unit2 We’re going to do some research. 是湘少版小学英语五年级下册的教学内容，本单元学习有关研究的各个具体步骤，学习每个步骤的英文表达，学生能通过本课的学习知道如何做研究How to do research 学生在本册的第一单元已经学习了be going to结构的一般疑问句和肯定，否定回答，在之前学生接触和学习过单词read，find,write和相关短语。所以本节课对于五年级的同学来说相对比较简单。
教学目标 语言能力：学生能熟练表达有关研究的各个具体步骤，能用句型“What are we going to do ”“We ‘re going to...”进行问答。学习能力：通过小组合作，培养学生的自主学习能力。 思维品质：引导学生主动观察，比较学习，在语言实践中培养学生的逻辑性、创新性思维。文化意识：对学习英语感兴趣，并在成功中体会英语学习中的乐趣。
情感目标 培养学生爱护动物保护动物的意识。
教学重点教学难点 重点：能听懂、会说、认读新单词do some research, read books, find information, collect pictures, study and think, write a report 能在情境中运用本课句型。难点：运用be going to结构来谈论开展研究性学习的步骤和打算。
