英语名词有单数和复数之分。大多数名词后面加上“s”就成了复数，如“ apples”,有些名词后面要加上“es”才变成复数，如“box”的复数是“boxes”.在汉语中没有这种现象，我们在学习英语时要特别注意这一点。
注意名词的单复数形式：

学习目标 1、在教师的引导和训练下，学生能正确理解和朗读cartoon time中的故事，能读懂其中趣味之处，并养成良好的阅读习惯。2、通过自然拼音法的拼读，让学生自己尝试拼读单词chicken, pencils。 3、通过小短文的学习，让学生能在真实的情景中正确运用Who’s this 4、通过培养学生学英语的兴趣，运用英语的意识。
重点 通过小短文的学习，让学生能正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读对话。
难点 1、能比较流畅地朗读对话，并能运用所学对话描述短文。2、通过自然拼音法的拼读，让学生正确拼读单词chicken。
