【教学目标】

1.能听懂、会说、认读和书写词汇: hello, hi, name, your, friend, his, her, pupil.
2.能理解并口头运用句子: Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you too. You can call me ______. This is my friend. His/ Her name is ______. He/ She is ___________.

乐于模仿,敢于开口.能熟练的用英语做自我介绍,并介绍他人.

培养学生的交际能力,让学生知道见面如何打招呼,如何在第一次见面时介绍自己.

Ⅰ.重点(Points)
1.词汇: friend, hello, hi, what, name, your, his, her, pupil.
2.句子: Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you, too. You can call me ______. This is my friend. His/ Her name is ______. He/ She is ___________.
Ⅱ.难点(Difficulties)
人称代词he, she与物主代词his, her的用法.(此难点为预设难点,教师可根据班里实际情况调整)

Ⅰ.Warm-up
1.师生互动: What did you do on your holiday
教师询问学生的假期情况.(可允许他们用汉语回答,或英汉混用,这样可以活跃气氛,拉近距离,让学生以愉悦的心情进入下面的学习.)
T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you today
S: Hello. I'm fine.
T: What did you do on your holiday

2.播放导入歌曲: How are you
师生一起唱.
Ⅱ.Presentation
1.新学期开始,教师先做自我介绍。
T: I'm your new teacher. You can call me…Hello/ Hi.
S: Hello/ Hi.
T: What's your name
S1: My name is…
S2: My name is…
S3: My name is…
…
师生互动,了解学生.(师生互动的过程中,引导学生用You can call me…句型,师生相互介绍,生生之间相互介绍.)
2.Watch and think.
PPT播放课文动画,先出示问题: What is the new teacher's name
(学期每个班级都有变化, Jenny班里也有了新变化,是什么呢 让学生带着问题或任务去听,可以使听力更加有效,注意力更集中,同时设计的问题逐步递进,体现了学习的层次性.)
3.Watch again, think
出示问题: How does he introduce himself Underline the sentence.让学生再观看一遍,并在书上画出答案.
4.T: Mr. Wood is a teacher. I'm a teacher too. And you are pupils.
引出pupil, PPT一起呈现Steven, Jenny, Kim, Danny的图片.
T: There is a new pupil in Jenny's class. He is our new friend. His name is Steven.
引出friend, his,接着逐个介绍课文中的人物(可以呈现出人物,让学生辨认是谁),重点练习his、her.(课件呈现:He is a pupil. And he is a boy.)

She is a pupil. And she is a girl.
Her name is ______.
难点的处理通过不断滚动,反复呈现,让学生在语境中大量操练,逐步体会到它们用法的区别.
Ⅲ.Practice
1.我的同桌(My deskmate)
规则:教师让学生用“His/ Her name is…”来介绍自己的同桌.
S1: His name is S2.
S2: Her name is S1.
S3: Her name is S4.
S4: His name is S3.
S: …
2.听音猜人(Listen and guess)
规则:让一名学生用眼罩蒙住眼睛,另一位学生起立向其问好: Hello, I'm a new pupil./ Hello, I'm your new friend.被蒙住眼睛的学生根据声音猜出是“boy”还是“girl”,是“boy”,说“ His name is…”;是“girl”,说“ Her name is…”如果猜对了,学生取下眼罩,说: My name is…, Nice to meet you. 如果猜不出具体是哪一名同学,则说: Hi, my name is…, I'm your new friend. / You can call me… What's your name (重点练习哪个句子,由教师根据班级学生情况,自己把握.)
3.Role-play
小组内角色扮演,朗读课文.(指导学生朗读时的语音语调,养成良好的按意群朗读的好习惯.)
Ⅳ.Consolidation
Introduce your friend:拿出朋友的照片或画出自己的朋友,向大家介绍自己的朋友.

Ⅴ.Summary
师生一起总结本课所学的词汇和句型,鼓励学生提出问题.教师点评学生的表现.
【作业布置】
1.观看课文学习动画,用正确的语音语调朗读课文对话.
