A teacher usually taught his students in special ways. One year, he asked four students to go to see apple trees in different seasons.The first student went there in spring, the second in summer, the third in autumn, and the last in winter.
After the four students came back, they described the trees to the teacher. The first student said, “All leaves(树叶) on the trees were green and beautiful.” The second student said differently, “The flowers looked so nice and smelt good.” But the third student said he only saw apples on the trees. “They tasted good, but I couldn't see any flowers.”
“Really Why didn't I see any leaves, flowers, or apples ” the last one said.“The trees looked really ugly(丑陋的).”Just then, the teacher said, “You're all right but you each just saw apple trees in one season. The trees aren't the same in different seasons. You can't tell a tree by only one season.”
