本节课是第八单元话题一的第二课时,继续谈论天气以及气温,主要活动是1a和2a。
通过Michael 和妈妈之间的电话对话,复习询问天气的表达法同时学习新的问候的表达方式:How are things going 以及给予建议的新表达:
Remember to put on your raincoat when you go outside; 另外通过图片和单词的配对活动,学习表示天气的形容词,并进一步掌握形容词的构词法;还将学习询问及回答气温的表达方式以及训练学生理解天气预报图,从中获取天气和气温信息的能力。

3. Write the adjective forms according to the nouns. Then try to find the rules.

6. Watch the video to make sure the Ss understand the conversation.

1. Show a picture and present the new expressions about temperature.
