How's it going 是用来询问对方近况,可意为“情况怎么样?/最近怎么样?/一切还好吗?”。后面可跟介词短语with sb./sth.
Language points
该句型的答语常用:
Pretty good! 相当不错! Great! 很好!
Not bad! 还不错! Terrible! 很糟糕!
Just so so. 一般般。Everything goes well. 一切进展顺利。
2. Can I take a message for him 我可以为他捎个口信吗?
take a message意为“捎个口信”,后常与介词for搭配,构成:take a message for sb.“给某人捎个口信”。
例:我能给你捎个口信。
