invite sb. to do sth.意为 “邀请某人做某事”。
3.own (形容词、动词)
own作形容词时,意为“自己的”。如:
同义句转化:She has her own car.= She has a car of her own.
她有自己的小汽车。have。
on one's own=by oneself 独自地
4.engineer
5.elder 兄弟姐妹子女的长幼,作定语、older:新旧老幼年龄大小作定语表语
6.sound:听起来 sound good区别feel better
7.like“像……”,是介词,常与连系动词或be动词连用,即look/sound/feel/smell/taste/be like。
