(一)教材的地位和作用
Status and Functions
1. This module is the end of the book, and it plays an important role in students’ future life. It provides not only the knowledge of objective clause, some useful words and sentences but also reminds students thankfulness for their friends, teachers and parents, besides, it also helps students to be prepared for their future life. Therefore, this lesson is not just about knowledge, but related dreams.
3. “ graduation” is a very good topic to end the lessons. Such a topic is close to their current situation and it is helpful to raise learning interests and participation of students. At the same time, improving their oral English.
2. This is the second period of Module8, and also the end of the book. It's the part for teacher to end the teaching of lessons as well as doing a meaningful education about gratitude and dreams. So if the Ss can learn it well, it will be a lifelong memory in their life.

In this step, firstly say hello to Ss, then, let the students read the new words of this module after me, after that, have a check of their vocabulary. Next, I will play a song called “yesterday once more” and try to remind students of the memories.

In this step, have the students to read the key language points on the blackboard together, and try to recite the useful sentences through the passage.

In the end, I’ll give some homework.
After watching the album, I believe that they have their own memories and they still want to thank some people in their lives. So, I will ask them to write a speech, and suppose that they will read it out loud in their own school-leavers’ party. Encourage them to use the beautiful sentences in their writing.
Expectation
In this lesson, I mainly adopt “group work” method. I want to have students learn by self-learning, by solving problems together.
In a word, the whole lesson is based on the students' interests. With deep interest, I hope they can acquire information and knowledge quickly, and have their abilities and skills trained.
