1. To make the students know some key words and expressions about basketball and some very famous players.
2. To get Ss to talk about the popularity of NBA.
2. Ability aims:
1. Enable students to have a good understanding of sports personalities and spirits
2. Enable students to use some key words and some expressions correctly.
3. Develop students’ reading ability.
3. Emotional aim:
To make the students know hard working can make a person successful.

Step 1: Introduction
Lead-in by asking and answering :
Show them a picture of Jordan, ask:
Who is he?
What does he do?
Do you like basketball???
Today we will learn Module one Basketball.
Step 2: Reading
