教材分析 本次课的教学内容是八年级下册第六单元3a-3c部分,课型为阅读课。本单元的教学内容是学生们非常感兴趣的话题:各种神话传说及故事,尤其本节课的内容《西游记》。《西游记》作为我国四大名著之一,学生们对其可以说是耳熟能详,这样的学习,既能让学生们重温经典,又能满足他们用所学学英语知识来叙述故事的探索精神。
学情分析 从知识储备来说,八年级的学生在七年级及八年级上册已经完成了对一般现在时,一般过去时的知识储备;上一节听说课学习了英语故事的6个要素,因此,有助于对本次课阅读的学习;从学习心理来说,他们正处于青春期,活泼,好动,好奇心强,求知欲旺盛,相信他们对本次课的学习内容会很感兴趣,教师需要在此基础上充分调动学生们的课堂积极性,完成教学目标。
