高中英语完型填空部分在高考试卷中占有重要地位。其中,完型填空之说明文与议论文经常会出现在试题中。在说明文与议论文类型的完型填空中,作者大多会在文章的首句点题,提出将要说明的事务等对象,或者在议论文中将议论的主题在首句点出,并且在各个分句的开头提出分论点。

一、说明文完型填空的特点
此类文章常围绕一个问题从不同的侧面来加以说明,通常结构严谨,句子结构复杂,因此是高考完形填空中较难理解的一种文体。说明文有:
1. 实体事例说明文:实体事物指国家、城市、人物、山水、树木、花草、虫鱼、鸟兽、建筑、文化古迹、科技成果及各种工农业产品等。包括:说明书、广告、解说词、人物介绍、知识小品、知识注解等。
2. 事理说明文:事理指观点、立场、名词概念、学术流派等。包括:理论性解释、文书简介、教材等。
3. 文艺性说明文:此类文章说明对象拟人化,以故事形式进行介绍。其特点是在文中开头就会有点题,而且文章结构很清晰。
因此,做说明文完形填空时,要明确说明的对象是具体实物还是理论性概念。明确说明对象是掌握说明细节的前提。一般情况下,作者在文章的首句就会直接提出说明的对象。
说明文的写作一般按着时间顺序、空间顺序和逻辑顺序来进行的,顺着作者的思路,理清整篇文章的脉络,即可顺利答题。
二、议论文完型填空的特点
议论文的完形填空首句常常是文章的主旨句。作者一般在文章的首段提出论点,然后在各段的首句提出分论点。
解题时要注意议论文的三要素:论点、论据、结论。所以,议论文论点明确、结构清晰,论点与论据形成一体,相互印证。有时作者为了使文章脉络清楚,行文流畅,会使用一些连接词。了解这些特点,有利于正确解题。
三、说明文与议论文完型填空解题技巧
1. 认真阅读首句,抓住文章主题
出题者在设计此类完形填空试题时,常会保留一个完整的、或是大半个完整的表达主旨的句子。通常,这个主旨大意的句子常会在文章的开头。因此,考生必须完全理解整篇文章的开头句子,分利用段开头句提供的信息挖掘文章的思路,寻找文章的脉络与线索。
2. 找出时间、空间、逻辑顺序,理清文章脉络
说明文的写作一般按时间与空间顺序以及逻辑关系进行写作的。所以理出顺序与关系有助于正确解题。
时间顺序:事件发生的先后;
空间顺序:从上到下、从内到外、从局部到整体;
逻辑顺序:前因后果,先果后因,先主后次;
解题时需注意说明文层次清晰,整体性强,递进性词汇和名词的设题出现较多。把握好这一特点,就可以顺着作者的思路正确解题。
3. 先易后难、瞻前顾后
在理解文章大意的前提下,结合各个选项的词义与用法、本着先易后难的原则,先越过完全没有把握的题目,将相对有把握的选项填上。然后再根据部分填完空的全文通读一遍,会对全文有更全面的理解,这将会有助于完成残留的全部空格。
总之,通读全文,理解大意;重视首句,跳过空格;浏览全文,整体感知。这几点是正确解题的基础。
