教学内容:
◆ Part A
教学目标:
◆ 能听懂,会说sister, brother, cousin, aunt和uncle这些新单词,并且语音、语调正确。
◆ 能较为熟练的运用所学句型描述人物外貌,并能向别人介绍人物。如:This is…, He/She is my…, He/She is tall…
◆ 创设丰富多彩的学习活动如火眼金睛、小小播音员等,直观、形象的让学生感知英语、学习英语,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
教学重难点:
1. 教学重点:
◆ 能听懂,会说sister, brother, cousin, aunt和uncle这些新单词,并且语音语调正确。
2. 教学难点:
◆ 能灵活的在句子中运用sister, brother, cousin, aunt和uncle这些单词。单词学习会读是基础,会用才是关键。
教学方法:
◆ 任务型教学法:设计活动任务,让学生在任务中学习。
教具准备:
单词卡片、PPT
教学过程:
一、组织教学及复习
1. Sing a song “finger family’’. [注1]
[注1] 以歌曲导入,激发学生兴趣,并且引入family这个主题。
2. According to the song ask students: “How many people are there in the finger family?” Remind students to answer: There are five people in the finger family. And then ask the students: “Who are they?” Promote students to answer: Father, mother, brother, sister and baby.
二、新知识的呈现与归纳
1. Show a picture, and tell my students that some children are talking about their families (or family members). And ask them: “What about your family members?” Let students say their family members, at this time, the teacher put the word cards made by myself on the board.
2. Point to the words and ask the students: “What’s the relationship between the family members?” And then structure a family tree with students.
3. Show Koko’s family tree to the students and emphasize the relationship between the family members with Chinese meaning.
4. Teach new words. Listen and read and spell.
5. Play a game: Clever eyes (have a competition): Flash the words and students read the words they see. Teacher divides students into four groups and let them have a competition: Who can read the word most quickly?
6. Show a picture of 《家有儿女》: Xia Donghai, Liu Mei, Xia Xue, Liu Xing and Xia Yu.

(Point to the picture): This is my family. I love them very much. Let me introduce them to you.
(Point to Xia Donghai): This is my father. He is tall.
He is fat.
(Point to Liu Mei): This is my mother. She is short. She is thin. (教师一边说一边用肢体语言形容tall, fat, short and thin。) [注3]
[注3] 引入学生们熟悉的影视人物,家有儿女里面的刘星一家。一方面吸引了学生的注意,另一方面能帮助学生更快更好地理解人物关系。
(Point to Xia Xue): Please look at this beautiful girl. She’s my sister, Xia Xue. Can you help me to describe my sister? She is… [注4]
[注4] 让学生帮忙描述夏雪,将学习的主动权交给学生。
(Point to Xia Yu): Now look at this fat boy. He’s my brother, Xia Yu.
Students describe Xia Yu with the sentence “He’s…”
(Show another picture with a mother, a father and a son, point to the father): This is my father’s brother, Xia Xihe. He’s my uncle. Students describe uncle: He’s…
(Point to the mother): This is my aunt. Students describe aunt: She’s…
(Point to the son): Look at the cute girl. She’s my cousin.
三、新知识的巩固和运用
1. Show some Koko’s family members and ask: Can you help Koko describe family members? Students come to the front and describe them.
2. Listen and read after the tape
3. Read after the teacher, and then students read together loudly
4. Take out the pictures of students’ families and ask students to introduce their family to the class. Ask several students to come to the front and show their pictures to the class and describe their family members with the sentences “This is my... He’s /She’s...” (对于中高层次的学生要求能完整地尽可能多地说出句子;对于中低层次的学生则能说出相关短语即算成功)[注8]
[注8] 这个环节是本课的高潮部分,也是学生对所学内容活学活用的展示。有利于锻炼学生在现实生活中对语言的运用。
5. Please say the sentences according to the pictures. The teacher presents some pictures of persons and students are supposed to describe one of them with the sentences “He’s/ She’s tall/short/fat/ thin…” (对于中高层次的学生要求能完整地尽可能多地说出句子;对于中低层次的学生则能说出相关短语即算成功)
6. 拓展练习: Let students introduce and describe their classmates or friends
四、小结
First review the words and the sentences of this unit, and then tell them that we should love our family. Besides, the teacher should show the result of the competition. [注9]
[注9] 在复习的同时教育学生要爱自己的家人,另外公布奖励竞赛中获胜的组。

[注10] 对于低年级小朋友来说,作业要具有趣味性和启发性。让学生用新学的词称呼家里人,学生便能在实用中掌握新知识。
中低层次的学生只要求完成第1、2项作业即可。
