【教学课题】
人教版新目标英语七年级下册第六单元I’m watching TV.
【教材分析】
本节课是人教版新目标英语七年级下册第六单元的内容,本单元以“everyday activities”为话题,谈论正在进行的动作或正在发生的事情。本课时是第一课时,在本单元有重要的作用。
【教学目标】
1.知识目标
1.初步了解现在进行时的用法;掌握现在进行时的句子结构特征;现在分词的构成规律。
2.词汇: watching TV, cleaning, reading a newspaper, talking on the phone, Listening to a CD, using the computer, making soup, washing the dishes, exercising
3.句型:
What are you doing I am watching TV .
What is he/she doing ? He/She is doing homework.
What are they doing They are eating dinner.
Is she/ he ….. Yes, she is. No, she isn’t.
Are they…… Yes, they are. No, they aren’t.
2.能力目标
将现在进行时灵活适时地运用到日常学习和生活中去。
3.情感目标
  在趣味话题的激励下,诱导学生积极参与,充分调动他们的学习兴趣,并注重培养学生的合作竞争能力和自主探究学习的能力。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Greeting
1、Greeting each other.
Teacher: Hello, everyone. How are you I’m glad to see you.
2、Let’s have a rest.
Let’s say and act the following poem. Now let’s feel everything is shaking.
Shaking, shaking, shaking. My head is shaking.
Shaking, shaking, shaking. My shoulders are shaking.
Shaking, shaking, shaking. My arms are shaking.
Shaking, shaking, shaking. My hands are shaking.
Step3 Presentation
Show some pictures about some actions which is happening. And try to teach students learn the phrases,for example watching TV, listening to a CD, reading a newspaper….
T: What is he/ she doing
S: He is watching TV / exercising / reading a newspaper…..
T: What are they doing
S: They are…
T: What are you doing
S: I am……
Let the students pay attention to “-ing” , that means something is apperning.
Step 4 Drills
1、Practice in pairs according to the pictures.
A: What are you doing
B: I am …
A: What is he/ she doing
B: He/ She's ….
A: What are they doing
B: They’re …
2、Let’s say a chant.
What are you doing now
I’m sleeping now.
What is he doing now
He is eating now.
What is she doing now
She is cleaning now.
What are they doing now
They are reading the books.
Step 5 Let’s guess.
T: what is the boy doing Is he watching TV
S: No, he isn’t.
T: Is he using the computer
S: Yes, he is.
Step 6 Listening activity 1b.
Listen twice and check the answers with the class.

Step 7 Groupwork.
1、Let’s try to describe Dick’s family by a dialogue.
Show the pictures and try to describe what the member of Dick’s family is doing.
2、Let’s describe Tom’s family by fill-in the blanks.
Step 8 write
According to the picture, try to write something about it.
Look at Tom’s family.His father is watching TV…

【教学反思】
以活动及小诗的形式来导入新课。效果比较好,不但让学生感受到学习英语的乐趣,也为接下来的学习创造了良好的课堂氛围。多媒体呈现的逼真情景,使得学生还积极参与到课堂活动中来。针对现在进行时的特点,让学生在讲台上做动作,台上学生和下面学生互动来练习现在进行时态,将课堂气氛推向了高潮。通过猜测正在做什么的环节,让学生充分运用Is she/ he doing Yes, she/he is. No, she/he isn’t.本课时学生参与面广,开展了点与点、点与面,面与面之间的交互对话。不同层次的学生均有收获,即便是较差的学生也能运用所学句型结构进行简单的交际练习。语言能力拓展达到一定的深度和广度。
