【教学目标】
1.能听、说、读、写新单词:fat, thin, tall, short.
2.能灵活运用句型“It’s fat/thin/short/tall.”来形容动物的特征。
3.能听、说、认读句子：Look at that monkey. It’s fat.
【教学重难点】
（一）教学重点：
1.能掌握新单词:fat, thin, tall, short.
2.听懂含有形容词的几个指令，并按指令做动作。
3.能灵活运用句型“It’s fat/thin/short/tall.”来形容动物的特征。 。
(二)教学难点：单词听写
【课前准备】
老师需要熟悉课件操作。
PPT，头饰等。
【教学过程】
Step1: Warming up
复习。
游戏：猜动物。规则：请几名学生上台，教师拉起一块幕布，让学生站在后面，然后示意一名学生在幕后表演各种小动物，其余学生猜猜他表演的是什么动物，并描述其特征。可用句型：—What’s this —It’s a …… It’s short/tall/fat …来描述。
Step2: Presentation&Practice
教师首先利用课件引入新单词，讲解发音，纠音，可以插入游戏进行操练（如，Magic fingers，藏卡片等）
观看视频，讲解课文重点。
看课件视频,引入Let’s do 部分。讲解，分组进行操练。
单词操练，记忆单词。
根据PPT，讲解习题，分组竞赛。
Step 3: Summary
让学生总结此课重点内容，教师进行补充。
按分数评比抽奖
Step 4：Homework
听录音，将对话读给父母听。
