A)
I watched the film Better Days (少年的你) with a sad feeling several days ago. The film deepened my understanding of school bullying (欺凌). I used to think school bullying was far from us, but that is not true. Many teenagers suffer from school bullying. The reason why we don’t know about their suffering is that many of them don’t dare to speak out about their experiences. Some do speak out, but no one around them is willing to help them go through their terrible days. The effect of school bullying on the victim can last a lifetime. It’s time we did something about this problem.
First of all, I think we need stricter school rules. Many boys and girls bully others because the school rules hardly solve bullying incidents (事件).
Second, it is important for teachers and parents to discover the incidents in time. As students, we should report school bullying incidents to our teachers or parents as soon as possible.
Last but not least, we should try our best to prevent (阻止) school bullying from happening. Perhaps schools can pay more attention to students’ mental (心理的) health since scientists have found bullies are nearly twice as likely to have mental health problems.
I’d like to call on all schools and families to pay more attention to school bullying. I hope all students can have a happy school life.

Electric cars are cars that use electricity for power. They have an electric motor which is powered by batteries or a fuel cell.
There are different kinds of electric cars. Plug-in hybrids use both fossil fuel and battery. The battery of plug-in hybrids can be recharged (充电). The second kind of electric cars is battery electric cars. It does not use any fuel. However, people can still drive it because it runs only on electricity. Another kind of electric cars are hydrogen (氢气) fuel cars. The power of it comes from hydrogen gas. When people are driving the cars, the hydrogen gas will help the battery make electricity.
Electric cars produce less pollution than the most efficient conventional (传统的) cars.
In other words, they are greener and more useful for protecting environment. Now more and more people are interested in electric cars. However, electric cars are not cheap, and sometimes you would even spend more money buying electric cars. We spend a lot of time sleeping at night and being active during the day. This is our second nature. That’s because we’re under the control of the body clocks inside nearly every cell. Also, our mood, strength, hormone levels, body temperature, metabolism and even the risk of a heart attack are all changing all the time every day. Our body clocks, however, are not controlled by cogs and pendulums. Instead, it’s the gene activity over 24 hours that keeps our body’s time. Jeffrey Hall, Michael Rosbash and Michael Young from the USA found these genes.
Dr. Michael Hastings, a circadian rhythm (昼夜节律) scientist in Cambridge, said more attention should be paid to this discovery.
Nobody now doubts the importance of our body clocks. Ask someone who doesn’t have a good habit of resting and working what goes wrong with his body clock.
Those who always live in this way may take the risk of having a lot of diseases, from cancer to diabetes, but understanding how the body’s clock works is also unlocking new ideas, like taking medicines at the time of day when they will have the biggest influence on the body.

Mourning Day Drizzling rain falls like tears on the Mourning Day, The mourner's heart is going to break on his way. Where can a wineshop be found to drown his sad hours A cowherd points to a cot amid apricot flowers. (Translated by Xu Yuanchong, Chinese translator)

Every year, we celebrate many special days—Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and New Year’s Day. In some countries, there is a special day for playing tricks on others. In North America and parts of Europe, this day is known as April Fool’s Day, and is celebrated on April 1.
Many people believe that the French started April Fool’s Day. Centuries ago, New Year’s Day in Europe was on April 1. In 1582, the calendar changed and King Charles Ⅸ of France moved it to January 1st.
Some people did not like this, and chose to keep April 1 as New Year’s Day. Many called these people “April fools” and played jokes and tricks on them. Over time, April 1 became a day to have fun in France. It then spread to England and Scotland, and later, to North America.
On April Fool’s Day, jokes are common. In the United States, for example, a person may move a friend’s clock ahead one hour, or change sugar into salt. In Scotland, April Fool’s Day lasts for two days. The second day is called “Taily Day”—for one’s “tail”. On this day, people might secretly put a sign saying “kick me” on a person’s back or behind. Other countries have their own “Fool’s Day”. In Spain and Mexico, people play tricks on each other on December 28. In India, it happens on March 31.
