Grammar: or*
“祈使句+ or +陈述句”，表示 “否则，……”
① Hurry up, or you will be late.
② Work hard, or you cannot pass this exam.
“一般疑问句+ or+被选择的部分”构成选择疑问句。

or 连接并列主语时，谓语动词的人称要与最后的那个主语保持一致。（就近原则）

but 表示 “但是”，“可是”，“而”，“却”。

but 不与although/though (“虽然，尽管”)连用。

并列复合句有时可以不用连词，而用分号隔开(前后句之间的关系须相当紧密)。
并列连词后面的简单句如果与前面的简单句有相同的部分，则相同的部分常可省略。

I’ve ever taken a summer course as an assistant teacher when I was in university. For me, this experience is quite amazing. They give hands as well as hugs to others. After then, I become much active and energetic. In my opinion, it is the place that can recharge myself and I’m really lucky to have such a good experience.
