Part1 高频考点总结
一、基数词考点
1.“数词+单数名词+（形容词）”相当于合成形容词，如a five-year-old boy
合成形容词不能作表语，后面必须跟所修饰的名词且该名词一定要用单数形式。
如：It is a three-year study plan for you.
2.“几十”的基数词的复数形式可用来表示某人大约几十岁或年代。
如：In his thirties, he got great success in business.
3.another +数词+名词复数= 数词+more+名词复数
如：another two hours= two more hours
表示时间，距离时，用含有数词的名词所有格形式作定语。
如：It’s an hour’s walk from my home to the city park.
用来表达“比...大（小）几倍”
如：This room is three times larger than that one.
6.表示事物的长、宽、高、深等时，主要有两种表达方式：
结构1：基数词 + 单位名词+ 形容词（long,wide,tall, deep等）
如果数词超过1，单位名词要用复数形式。
如：three meters high
结构2：基数词+ 单位名词+ in + 名词（length; width; height; depth等）
7.hundred/ thousand/million/billion和“of”连用，前面不能有具体的数,而且这四个词的本身必须用复数。
hundreds of 成百上千 thousands of 成千上万 millions of 数以百万计
※当它们的前面有具体的数修饰时,其本身即不能用复数，不能和“of”连用。

二、序数词考点
1.表示分数：分子用基数词,分母用序数词。当分子大1时,分母为序数词加s.注意: 分数词的几种特殊形式.
1/3—one third = a third
1/4—one fourth = a quarter
1/2—one second = a half
3/4—three fourths = three quarters
2.分数+名词作主语时, 谓语动词根据分数词后面的名词来确定.
Two-fifths of questions are quite easy for most students.
3.the+序数词表示次序；a +序数词表示“又一”“再一”。
He has tried twice, but he wants a third try.
4.序数词前面一般加定冠词the，但如果序数词前用形容词性物主代词，名词所有格等同一位置修饰词，the 要省略。
