一、整体设计思路
Unit 2 Days and Months主要教学内容是表达日期、节日和天气,描述节日具体在哪一天学生正确使用序数词。Lesson 9 主要来学习节日的新单词,并询问节日的具体时间。本节课通过创设情境,让学生感受节日的氛围,抓住学生的注意力。引出生词和重点句型When is it It’s in …。围绕主线:When is it?(六个具体的节日)— When is your birthday?(询问别人的生日)采用了歌谣、游戏、问答等丰富的课堂活动。
二、学习目标:
知识目标:
1、学生能够认识、理解和应用重点句型:When is it
2、学生能够运用序数词正确表达New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, International Worker’s Day, Children’s Day,Teacher’s Day, National Day .
3、学生可以灵活运用句型: When is +节日? It is +日期。
能力目标:能用本课时的句型,围绕节日或生日进行交流;能在情境中灵活地运用月份和序数词来表达日期。
情感目标:通过学习本课,增强爱国意识,时刻热爱和维护我们伟大的祖国。

Guess what is it It's the traditional festival in our China. We have a long holiday in this festival. We can get lucky money, we put on new clothes and we grow older. What is it The students looked at the calendar and find out when the festival is.T: When is the Spring Festival S: It's ____ T:Spring Festival sometimes in January ,but sometimes in February .so we can say it is in January or February.③Use the same way we can learn Children’s Day/ Teacher’s Day/ National Day Children’s Day ------your festival/ student’s favorite festival. Teacher’s Day-------- a festival celebrated for teachers. National Day--------- a festival celebrated for establishing our country.(3) Show the pictures of the festivals and get the students to ask “When is it ” and answer. 借助“猜一猜”活动,呈现本课新知New Year’s Day/Spring Festival/Children’s Day /Teacher’s Day/ National Day ,运用句型“When is it ”“It’s...” 并进行回答。 利用多媒体,播放各种节日的音乐和精美图片,可以吸引学生的注意力,调动他们的积极性,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。同时感受不同节日的氛围。
