现在进行时（The Present Continuous Tense）
1. 表示现在（说话瞬间）正在进行或发生的动作。
The students are listening to the teacher.
He is watching TV now.
2. 表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动
作。
We are working on a farm these days .
I am writing a book this month.
1. I am doing homework now.
2. Look! Tom is playing soccer.
3. Listen! They are reading English.
4. Where is your mother She is cooking dinner.
常见的现在进行时标志词:
时间标志词：
now 现在
look 看
listen 听
Where is your mother 你妈妈在哪里？
现在进行时的结构
be(am/is/are)+动词-ing形式
1. 肯定式结构：主语+be+动词-ing形式+其他.
He is reading a book.
2. 否定式结构：主语+be+not+动词-ing形式+其他.
He isn’t reading a book.
3. 一般疑问句式结构：Be+主语+动词-ing形式+其他？
Is he reading a book
4. 特殊疑问句式结构：疑问词+be+主语+其他？
What is he doing
1. 一般情况下，直接加-ing
work—working do—doing
play—playing
2. 以不发音的字母e结尾,去e再加-ing
dance—dancing come—coming
3. 双写最后一个字母，再加-ing
get—getting(得到) shop—shopping（购物） run—running（跑） swim—swimming （游泳）
动词现在分词的构成规律：
study—studying
play—playing
empty—emptying
无论是元音字母还是辅音字母+y ，变现在分词都是直接加-ing!
