【教学过程】
一、导入环节(2分钟)
(一)导入新课,板书课题
导入语:Good morning, class. How are you Today, we are going to learn:
Lesson 2 Meet You in Beijing
(二)出示学习目标
过渡语:First ,let’s read the learning goals together.
1.我要掌握本课单词和句型:exciting, along, kilometre, special, culture, arrive, leave, How far is it from ---to---
2.通过学习,我要学会运用一般将来时态和关于距离的表达方式。
过渡语:I believe everyone can achieve your goal Can you Let’s begin .
二、先学环节(13分钟)
过渡语:First look at the guides carefully and then finish the tasks step by step.

探究一:How exciting! (真令人激动!)
(1)该句是 How exciting it is!的缩写。该句是由how引导的感叹句,其基本结构是:How+adj/adv+主语+谓语。例:How beautiful the girl is ! ___________________________
(2)exciting: 使人激动的,在句中多作宾语,常用来修饰事物。如,an exciting film
excited: 激动的;兴奋的,多用来描述人。
例:He looked excited after watching the exciting film. ___________________________
探究二:Our first stop will be in Xi'an (我们的第一站就在西安。)
(1)will: 将,会;情态动词;常用“will+动词原形”构成一般将来时,表示将要发生的动作或存在的状态。例:I will go to Beijing next week. ________________________
变一般疑问句,把情态动词will提前: Will you go to Beijing next week
变否定句:在will后加not: I will not go to Beijing next week.
(2)in Xi'an: in+地点,表示在某地,一般接大地点。at+地点,在某地。at+小地点
例:I lived in Beijing now. ____________________
I will stay at home for a few days. __________________________
探究三: How far is it from Beijing to Xi'an?(北京离西安有多远?)
(1)how far: 多远,询问距离; from...to...:从……到……
例:How far is it from your home to school _________________________________
回答中要用It来做主语:It's 320 kilometers
探究四:It's about 1 114 kilometers. (大约有1114千米。)
1 114=one thousand one hundred and fourteen
英语中三位数或三位数以上的基数词的构成,是在百位和十位之间(若十位为零, 则在则在百位和个位之间用and连接)(也可不用and).
例:320 three hundred (and) twenty
探究五:The Silk Road is about 6 500 kilometres long! (丝绸之路有6500千米长。)
6 500 kilometres long:6500千米长 对划线部分提问: How long is the Silk Road
探究六:Arrive in Beijing and take a trip to Xi'an. (到达北京并起程去西安旅游)
(1)arrive 是不及物动词,表示到达国家、城市等大地方时,用介词in; 表示到达村庄、车站等小地方时,用at; 到达之地用副词表示时,则不用介词。
例: He arrived in Canada last week. ____________________________
The bus arrived at the station. _______________________
We arrived home early. ____________________________
探究七:Visit Xi'an and the Terra Cotta Warriors. (去西安旅游并参观兵马俑)
(1) Terra Cotta Warriors: 为专有名词,因此,其首字母均要大写。
(2) 一般来讲,专有名词前面不用定冠词the。但江河海洋,山脉群岛地理名称前要用定冠词;有两个以上的普通名词组成的专有名词前,一般要用定冠词。
例:the Yellow River 黄河 the Great Wall 长城 the United States 美国
