一.The analysis of the teaching material: This lesson is the third lesson in unit 3.It is a reading passage. By studying this lesson , Ss can improve their listening、speaking、 reading and writing abilities .At the end of the class they can write a short passage about How can you make a difference in your own life now 二.Teaching objectives:1. Master words: difference ,village, yourself, drop ,possible, never, future2. Oral words: education3.Phrases and sentences :make a difference ,give up ,drop out of school ,in the future Ability objective: Students can write a short passage about How I Make a Difference Emotional objective: Let students have more confidence and love life .(二)Ability objective: Students can write a short passage about How can you make a difference in your own life now (三)Emotional objective: Let students have more confidence and work hard.三.Teaching important and difficult points:(一)Teaching important points:1. Useful words and phrases: difference ,village, yourself, drop ,possible, never, future2.Key sentences:I wanted to give up my studies .With a good education , you can make a difference .She does not make a difference in the future .(二) Teaching difficult points:How to use often, usually, always, etc.四. Something about the SsMy students don’t often use English to express themselves and communicate with others. In my class about 75% of my students can understand me. About 25% Ss are lack of confidence. They are not active in the class because they are afraid of making mistakes. So I should encourage them to take part in my class. As an English teacher the important thing is to respect our students . I often let them work together in groups. 五. My teaching theoriesBefore dealing with this lesson, I’ll do my best to carry out the following theories: Make the Ss the real masters in class while the teacher myself acts a director; Combine the language structures with the language functions; Let the students receive some moral education while they are learning the English languages. I will respect them and love them. Step2 Leading in(3mins) Lead-in by discussing the following question:1. Do you think school makes a difference in your life 2. Does school help you or make you better Help the students answer the question. Teach students new phrases of this lesson . Bring in a new subject: :make adifference
Step 3 Present(10mins) Show the pictures of HaoTongxin ,and tell students his story .Teach new words. Talk about the pictures of HaoTongxin ,and tell students his story .My students learn the new words. Arouse the students’ interest of study.and let them master new words.
Step 4 Listening(5mins) Let the students listen to the tape twice. First listen carefully, then complete the chart First listen carefully, then Complete the chart. Train the Ss’ listening ability
Step 5 Reading(5mins) Let the students reading the text.1) First read paragraph 1, then read the text by themselves and complete the sentences .2) Read the text and complete the sentences. Let the students read the text. Understand the general idea of each paragraph. and complete the sentences. Improve the students’ reading ability and the ability of understand-ing.

I will respect them and love them. There were tensteps in thisclass.Actually,allof the steps were carried out successfully during my class.I was not satisfied with step6the writing part, Although students had time to write their compositions, they didn’t have the opportunities to show their compositions. So I should use more electronics to finish my tasks in the class, then students can have more time to learn the knowledge. All in all I should improve my teaching skills and I need to do more research from text .
