教学目标
1.学生能够听、说、读、写单词younger,older,taller,shorter,longer。
2.学生能够运用句型I’m/He’s/She’s...metres.描述自己或他人的身高。
3.学生能够运用句型...older than...和...taller than...比较年龄和身高。
教学重难点
1.能够掌握本课时的四会单词。
2.能够使用长度单位描述自己和他人的身高,并运用形容词的比较级进行比较。

cm = centimeter

I ’m … cm tall.
cm=centimeter
这里的cm是centimeter 的缩写,“厘米”。不管前面的数字有多大,书写时一般使用单数形式,如:160cm,67kg.但读的时候要读成centimeter 。
超过1厘米时,要读其复数形式centimeters.

表示身高、长度、高度、宽度、深度等度量结果时,可以用:数词+量词+形容词来表示
形容词的比较级
1.含义:表示两者(人或事物)的
比较。
2.用于:比较级+than的句子中
3.翻译:“更…….”
形容词比较级的变化规则
(1)一般在词尾+er:
strong—stronger(更强壮的)
(2)以字母e结尾的单词,+r:
nice(好的)—nicer(更好的)
(3)闭音节单词(一个元音字母+一个辅音字母结尾的单词)变比较级时要双写辅音字母,再+er:
big—bigger(更大的)
hot---hotter(更热的)
thin---thinner(更瘦的)
(4)辅音字母+y字母结尾的单词,变比较级时把y变i,再加er:
happy----happier(更高兴的、更幸福的)
heavy----heavier (更重的)
funny----funnier (更滑稽好笑的)
(5)多音节的形容词变比较级时,在单词前面加more:
beautiful----more beautiful(更漂亮的)
difficult----more difficult(更难的)
interesting--- more interesting(更有趣的)
