Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston, Massachusetts in the USA on 17 January 1706. He had a very big family—his parents had seventeen children. He was a man of many talents and interests. Among other things, he was a scientist and an inventor. Although these experiments led to the discovery of some very important findings on electricity, Benjamin did not actually invent it.
